How
Do I Know if I'm Doing Enough?
It's
understandable to be worried about academics.
Before answering this let me ask you a few questions.
Do you know if your child is going to heaven?
Does your child know God's Word? Does your child
know God has a plan for his or her life. Does
your child know living by God's Word is the only
way to real peace and happiness?
Pray
for wisdom. Ask God to show you what His will
is for your child. Observe your child's gifts
and leanings. The Bible says: Train up a child
in the way he should go: and when he is old, he
will not depart from it. (Prov 22:6). The
way he should go in the Hebrew comes from the
word 6310 peh (peh); from 6284; it means
specific edge, portion or side; with preposition
according to. Meaning according to the child's
God given gifts. It assuredly does not mean according
to the state.
